This animatic is about the inner struggle and feelings that chess has about the loss of her friend. Her blue half is upset and apathetic about what happened while her red half is angry and bitter. By the end, she realizes that the 2 sides of herself are just hurting each other by not communicating and arguing she accepts who she is and how she is feeling at this time. Things may not have gotten better but at least some feelings of self hatred have been quelled.
